Who we are
Housing Trust is a for-purpose community housing provider.
We create opportunities, enrich lives and build communities in the Illawarra, by providing safe, secure, comfortable and affordable rental housing.
What we do
Social Housing
We lease safe, comfortable homes to people on very low incomes that may be experiencing ‘rental stress’ or are not able to secure a rental property in the private market for other reasons.
Affordable Housing
We address the gap between Social Housing and the private housing market by leasing safe and comfortable houses to low-to-moderate income earners, who might be working but find it difficult to afford housing in the private rental market and earn too much to qualify for Social Housing.
Tenant Support
We help our tenants transform and enrich their lives by linking them to appropriate support services or programs available through our strong partnerships in the region.
