Amanda Winks is the Chief Executive Officer at Housing Trust, leading the organisation to provide 1,200 affordable homes to around 2,100 people across the Illawarra. Since joining the executive team in 2018, Amanda has overseen significant growth, including adding 120 homes to the portfolio and achieving a 90% customer satisfaction rating. With 4,000 applicants waiting for social housing and 23,000 households in housing stress, Amanda views housing as a fundamental human right. Her leadership has driven strong results, such as a 99% occupancy rate and $20m in capital grants. Amanda’s background spans 15 years in real estate before transitioning to the not-for-profit sector with Cancer Council NSW, where she led impactful programs like the patient accommodation partnership with AccorHotels.
