Housing Trust received a total of $9,000 in grants to fund the new ride-on mower and trailer for our Lawns and Gardens Program. This included $4,000 from Dapto Citizens Bowling Club as part of ClubGrants and $5,000 from the NSW Government’s 2023 Community Building Partnership Program.
By using the ride-on mower, Housing Trust can save over an hour for each lawn they cut. This adds up to a total of about 41 hours saved every two weeks. This extra time can then be used to make the gardens look even better or to take care of more houses. This improvement has helped keep our community looking neat and beautiful, benefiting everyone who lives here.
